Voblerele Smith pot fi considerate cu usurinta opere de arta. Acestea imbina toate caracteristicile unice ale culturii japoneze: rabdarea, atentia la detaliu si maiestria neegalata, pentru a oferi pescarilor un produs cu adevarat deosebit. Fiecare vobler este inspectat vizual si testat manual in bazin inainte de ambalare, astfel ca atunci cand pescuit putem avea incredere deplina in naluca folosita. D-Contact este un vobler de tip minnow care a fost conceput special pentru pescuitul la pastrav, in rauri. Caracteristica speciala a acestui vobler este greutatea destul de mare (4,5 gr si 5 gr), intr-un corp de dimensiuni mici (5 cm). Greutatea mai mare a voblerului il face pe acesta foarte usor de lansat si ii imprima o miscare unica si irezistibila pentru pastrav. Gama coloristica cuprinde culori si combinatii testate cu mare succes in tarile cu traditie in pescuitul pastravului, din Japonia si pana in tarile europene nordice Lateralele voblerului sunt aplatizate si concepute special sa reflecte cat mai puternic lumina pentru a atrage pastravii din cele mai ascunse locuri. Barbeta ajuta voblerul sa aiba o "bataie" constanta chiar si atunci cand este recuperat la viteze mari sau in curent puternic. Dupa multi ani in care a fost folosit cu succes de numerosi pescari de pastrav din tara noastra, voblerul Smith D-Contact este o naluca care nu trebuie sa lipseasca din trusa niciunui pescar respectabil de pastrav.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
