Vobler Rapala X-Rap Otus Whitefish 17cm 40g
Otus este o creatie hibrid intre corpul clasic X-Rap (naluca hardbait) si o coada siliconica tip grub. Este o naluca dedicata 100% pescuitului stiucii, gandita cu o viteza lenta de scufundare (Slow Sinking), care sa fie animata de coada aflata in permanenta miscare. Partea frontala a lui Otus (voblerul propriu-zis) este, de fapt, un cap de glider, practic un vobler fara barbeta. Rolul acesteia este de a imprima miscarile faimoase laterale, specifice faimiliei de glidere.
Pulsatiile imprimate de cap sunt amplificate de coada tip grub voluminoasa. Ceea ce este interesant este faptul ca volumul cozii a fost gandit in asa fel incat in timpul stopurilor de recuperare, corpul sa ramana la orizontala, intr-un echilibru perfect in masa apei. Daca pauza este lunga, incepe o miscare usoara de scufundare in care coada evolueaza constant, pastrandu-si efectul de parasuta. Trebuie sa avem in vedere faptul ca, in lanseuri lungi, acest lucru poate insemna un atac violent pe cap de lanseu.
Si pentru ca una din cele mai mari neajunsuri ale unei naluci hibrid este deteriorarea cozii, cei de la Rapala au optat pentru o atasare in 6 puncte de fixare pe o placa metalica.
Otus este un proiect solicitat de ghizii de pescuit suedezi, finlandezi si norvegieni. Nu necesita o tehnica anume de recuperare, intrucat animatia permanenta este sustinuta de coada. Se recomanda tehnica Jerk, cu stopuri succesive.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
