Nu există niciun pește prădător care să reziste mișcării lui Shadow Rap Shad. Datorită designului său cu spatele înalt, este o nalucă plutitoare, puternică, ce se balansează dintr-o parte în alta. Tragându-l cu mișcări mici, imită perfect un pește mic in agonie. Un avantaj suplimentar al spatelui înalt este că modelul holografic al nalucii strălucește pe o suprafață mare, făcându-l un fenomen și mai captivant în sălbăticia subacvatică. Este o alegere excelentă, de exemplu, pentru știucă, pentru care tehnica recomandată este să tragi momeala cu smucituri mari, dar încet. În acest caz, făcând viraje de 180 de grade, izbucnește larg spre dreapta și apoi spre stânga, stimulând astfel constant peștele țintă, dar nu iese prematur din zona de actiune.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
