Rapala RipStop Deep este un vobler de tip "jerkbait", ce va excela in pescuitul la stiuca, salau, sau chiar avat. Acest vobler prezinta o barbeta in partea frontala, ce face ca naluca sa se scufunde in recuperare. Aceasta barbeta ofera RipStop Deep si o evolutie agresiva, ce va face rapitorii sa atace decisiv. Corpul acestei naluci este plat in partile laterale, fapt ce ii confera o bataie pe flancuri in recuperarile liniare. Datorita cozii similare cu a unui shad, RipStop Deep va putea fi oprit extrem de rapid, reusind sa dea iluzia de pestisor prada ranit, si oferind timp rapitorului sa atace.
Iesirea acestui vobler la suprafata este extrem de lenta, fapt ce ii ofera un timp indelungat in coloana de apa. RipStop Deep este foarte versatil, in sensul in care atat tehnica "twitching", cat si recuperarile liniare vor da rezultate satisfacatoare. Gama variata de culori ale acestei naluci ofera pescarului posibilitatea de a se adapta rapid la orice tip de scenariu, fie ca apa este tulbure, sau limpede. Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
