Un adevarat top water, echipat cu ancore WMC, foarte bine ascutite, are prevazut pe partea din spate un ax de otel pe care se afla doua palete care produc un zgomot natural la contactul cu apa, responsabila de o miscarea agresiva si de apelarea pestilor rapitori. Utilizat cu mare succes in ape cu vegetatia aproape de suprafata, a capturat nenumarate stiuci de talie mare. Coada voblerului executa o miscarea rotativa de lovire a apei, imitand pesti raniti, broaste sau alte vietati care incearca sa se deplaseze astfel incat in linistea noptii poate atrage cele mai frumoase exemplare de la distante apreciabile. Datorita greutatii poate fi lansata destul de usor si precis la distante considerabile.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
