DEX Long Shot este un vobler conceput pentru a exploata la maximum momentele in care rapitorii patruleaza straturile superioare ale apei sau se adapostesc in zonele cu adancimi reduse. In aceste conditii aparent lipsite de provocari, Long Shot devine un adevarat as din maneca pescarului, oferind un echilibru remarcabil intre finetea prezentarii si agresivitatea reactiei.
Actiunea sa lent-descendenta transforma fiecare pauza intr-un spectacol vizual hipnotizant, in care sclipirile discrete si oscilatiile naturale simuleaza cu o fidelitate uimitoare comportamentul unui peste ranit sau slabit. Acest detaliu face din Long Shot un vobler extrem de eficient chiar si atunci cand rapitorii sunt apatici, indecisi sau putin activi. In mainile unui pescar experimentat, devine o arma de precizie, ideala pentru situatiile in care subtilitatea face diferenta dintre o partida reusita si una ratata.
La fiecare smucitura, evolueaza cu o miscare laterala ampla, dezordonata, imitand disperarea unui peste prada, ceea ce provoaca reactii instinctive din partea rapitorilor aflati in apropiere. Iar atunci cand este lansat, mecanismul intern gandit cu atentie permite o distributie ideala a greutatii, garantand o traiectorie perfecta si distante de lansare greu de egalat pentru un jerkbait de aceasta clasa.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
