Gasit numai in tambururile mulinetelor Quantum, acest ulei original are calitati unice ce nu pot fi gasite la uleiurile obisnuite. Nivelul scazut de vascozitate permite o rotatie lina a tamburului mulinetei. Testele au aratat ca tamburul tratat cu Quantum Hot Sauce accelereaza cu peste 20.000 de rotatii pe minut (RTM) la mulinetele baitcast si se va invartii liber pentru inca 30% fata de aceeasi bombina tratata cu ulei conventional. Secretul se afla in aditivi. O formula speciala face uleiul sa creeze o legatura moleculara cu metalul, creand o bariera de lubrificatie permanenta pe suprafata metalului care nu se va uza, oferind protectie permanenta. Aditivii aditionali aduc proprietati corozive superioare ce protejeaza cu precizie partile componente in mediile cu apa sarata, iar culoarea rosie da un indiciu vizual ce indica faptul ca uleiul este unde ar trebui sa fie. Uleiul Quantum Hot Sauce se poate folosi si pe: arme , mecanisme la barci si in general la orice produs care presupune un mecanism si care se utilizeaza in aer liber.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
