Traductorul GT8HW-IH este ideal pentru bărcile de bass, unde traductorul se montează în carena din fibră de sticlă și nu pe traversă, unde cavitația ar putea cauza probleme. Necesită o secțiune plană (mai mică de 6 °) pentru a fi montat și este excelent pentru viteze mari, oferind informații precise ale adâncimii. Traductorul cu 8 pini are sonda tradițională CHIRP (145-230) kHz) cu o putere nominală de 250 W. Poate fi utilizat împreună cu un traductor GT30-TM și un cablu adaptor, astfel încât să puteți citi adâncimea la viteze mari și să aveți capacitățile de scanare la viteze mari la pescuit.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
