Garmin GPSMAP 1022 WW este un chartplotter marin multifunctional proiectat pentru navigatie si pescuit, echipat cu un ecran mare de 10.1 inch care ofera o vizibilitate clara si detaliata a hartilor si informatiilor de navigatie. Dispozitivul este conceput pentru utilizare pe ambarcatiuni si permite integrarea cu numeroase echipamente marine, oferind control si monitorizare intr-un singur sistem.
Ecranul color WSVGA cu rezolutie 1024 x 600 pixeli este optimizat pentru utilizare in exterior, fiind lizibil chiar si in lumina puternica. Interfata este controlata prin taste fizice, ceea ce permite operarea usoara chiar si in conditii dificile pe apa.
Unitatea este echipata cu receptor GPS si GLONASS de mare sensibilitate cu actualizare de 10 Hz, care actualizeaza pozitia de mai multe ori pe secunda pentru o urmarire precisa a traseului. Dispozitivul permite salvarea waypoint-urilor, rutelor si traseelor, fiind util pentru planificarea si urmarirea rutelor de navigatie.
GPSMAP 1022 este compatibil cu retelele Garmin Marine Network, NMEA 2000 si NMEA 0183, ceea ce permite conectarea cu radar, senzori, autopilot, camere marine sau sisteme audio compatibile. De asemenea, suporta conectivitate wireless prin Wi-Fi, Bluetooth si ANT, precum si utilizarea aplicatiei Garmin ActiveCaptain pentru gestionarea hartilor si actualizarea sistemului.
Dispozitivul accepta o gama larga de cartografie optionala, inclusiv BlueChart g3, BlueChart g3 Vision, LakeVü g3, LakeVü g3 Ultra si Garmin Navionics+, oferind informatii detaliate despre zonele marine si lacuri. Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
