Storm V-Slab este un shad de dimensiuni mari, cu profil pronuntat si o greutate redusa, special conceput pentru pescuitul speciilor de talie mare. Spatele decupat ofera o greutate redusa semnificativ, fara sa fiti nevoiti sa reduceti dimensiunea si profilul. Designul unic, cu pereti laterali subtiri, are ca rezultat o actiune de inot naturala, dar se "prabuseste" usor cand vine atacul, sporind astfel capacitatea de agatare.
Coada supradimensionata in forma de paleta cofera nalucii o actiune fantastica si trimite in acelasi timp vibratii puternice in coloana de apa, ce starnesc atacurile pestilor tinta. V-Slab poate fi pescuit in zone cu vegetatie abundenta daca este armat cu un carlig offset sau cu o platforma cu doua carlige care se poate atasa in punctele intarite din zona burtii.
Materialul din care sunt fabricate aceste shaduri este moale si flexibil, fiind mult mai rezistent la rupere decat plasticele clasice. Materialul nu este toxic si nu contine BPA fiind fabricat in Indonezia (pentru brand-ul Rapala) respectand cele mai inalte standarde de productie din domeniu. Se recomanda pastrarea shad-ului in blisterul original din plastic.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
