Slit Shad este un shad cu actiune larga, care vizeaza multiple specii de pesti rapitori. Are corpul construit cu o articulatie majora in zona de mijloc, care delimiteaza, de alfel si zona pana la care putem arma jigul, in asa fel incat vibratia cozii sa ramana libera si activa. Striatiile de pe corp au rolul de a amplifica turbulentele in evolutie. In functie de producator, putem alege jiguri cuprinse intre marimile 1/0, 1, 2 sau 4. Slit Shad intra in categoria nalucilor cu agresivitate mare in evolutie, un rol important avand si impregnarea materialului cu extract de crustacee. Daca optam pentru un lestaj mai usor, vom observa ca agresivitatea vibratiei cozii se transmite catre intreg corpul, care incepe un balans amplu in laterale.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
