- Noutatea celor de la Quantum in materie de spinning , pentru anul 2018 , este incredibila naluca FREDDIE SHAD. Tăierea deliberată în a treia parte a părții inferioare creează o mișcare extremă pe o preluare verticala. Coada furcată și canalul curat, golit pe partea superioară asigură o prezentare optimă a cârligului. Cea mai mică din cele două mărimi vine cu un canal de-a lungul stomacului pentru a fi utilizat cu cârlige offset (pentru pescuitul la dropshot). Inventatorul si tester-ul Quantum , Fredrik Harbort , a folosit modelul Freddie shad in nenumarate partide , rezultatele fiind exceptionale. In timpul testelor , acesta a reusit sa prinda un salau extraordinar de 10kg. Evolutia acestei naluci poate fi observata si in filmuletul de prezentare.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
