Stanz este un rodpod ce a fost dezvoltat de producatorul britanic SONIK sa ofere stabilitate excelenta pe orice fel de suprafata, oferind sustinerea eficienta a patru lansete de crap. Este proiectat pentru a fi montat si ajustat in pozitia dorita intr-un timp foarte scurt, putand fi transformat foarte usor intr-un Sky Pod prin atasarea celor doua picioare suplimentare cu lungimea de 92cm, oferind o varietate larga de optiuni de configurare. O alta caracteristica a acestui rod pod este faptul ca lungimea si inaltimea acestuia pot fi ajustate cu precizie chiar si pe cele mai denivelate soluri. Picioarele avand o terminatie cu varfuri metalice ascutite, pentru a putea fi infipte usor in sol. Picioarele se ataseaza prin infiletare (fixarea ferma se realizeaza tot prin infiletare) fiind prevazute cu cleme de plastic pentru blocare si fixare (in momentul cand sunt extinse).
Rodpod-ul este construit pe un cadru din aluminiu anodizat, ceea ce ii confera o greutate foarte redusa dar si rezistenta, acesta putand fi configurat in doua pozitii distincte, fie inclinat pe verticala, fie pe orizontala, in functie de nevoi sau preferinte. Este livrat intr-o husa utila capitonata, pliabila, care permite atasarea avertizoarelor sau capetelor de suporti la buzzbari. Constructia metalica ofera o durabilitate sporita, iar piesele de legatura din plastic sunt rezistente la socuri mecanice. Cadrul si restul componentelor metalice sunt tratate cu pulbere anticoroziva non-toxica. Sonik Stanz se descrie ca fiind un rod pod calitativ, ce datorita caracteristicilor va urca rapid in topul preferintelor pescarilor.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
