Construit dintr-un aliaj metalic usor si rezistent, cu elemente de legatura din plastic rigid, acest rod pod ofera o rigiditate excelenta si o stabilitate superioara, inclusiv pe terenuri denivelate. Bara centrala, cu profil trapezoidal, este extensibila si permite ajustarea precisa a pozitiei lansetelor, in timp ce picioarele fixe, prevazute cu varfuri metalice ascutite, asigura o ancorare sigura in sol. Designul compact si tratamentul anticoroziv il fac potrivit atat pentru partide scurte, cat si pentru sesiuni mai lungi, iar transportul este facil datorita dimensiunilor reduse si gentii textile incluse. Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
