O forma si un stil de pluta foarte populara, cu o multitudine de utilizari, mai ales atunci cand pescuiti cu momeli precum larve, pinkies si canepa. Varful acestei plute este probabil cel mai mare avantaj fata de alte modele, deoarece are un varf de trestie pura. Cand pescuiti „prin apa” si „pe picatura”, stuful ofera o prezentare excelenta si un suport excelent pentru momeala si este foarte usor de reglat, mai ales cand plutitorul este cantarit pana la ultimul punct vizibil. Cand pescuiti in straturile superioare de apa, stuful ofera, de asemenea, un suport excelent pentru momelile care plutesc deasupra fundului; o pluta grozava pentru pescuitul cu momeala in straturile superioare de apa. Corpul subtire combinat cu antena subtire de carbon este perfect pentru pescuitul „pe drop”, unde pluta urmareste greutatile si forfacul pe masura ce se scufunda. Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
