Lestul fabricat de pescarii rusi a castigat in popularitatea in ultimii ani prin faptul ca ne permite sa folosim orice carlig cu ochet pentru armarea unei naluci moi (shad sau twister clasic). Spre deosebire de jigurile clasice, acest model de lest are marele avantaj de a permite nalucii sa evolueze mai natural, fara a alinia carligul cu greutatea propriu zisa. Practic, evolutia cozii va genera o miscare libera a nalucii, importanta chiar si in momentul inhalarii nalucii de catre specia vizata (fie salau, stiuca sau biban).
Conexiunea cu carligul propriu zis se face cu ajutorul unei sarme interioare curbate. In partea opusa, agatam agrafa de care am legat firul principal. Rezistenta va fi conferita tocmai de fixarea celor doua accesorii: carlig si agrafa. Cheburaska poate fi armata cu carlige clasice, atunci cand folosim naluci de mici dimensiuni, carlige speciale cu spini pe tija (pentru o fixare cat mai buna a nalucii) sau cu variante offset (mai ales atunci cand alegem sa pescuim unde sunt structuri submerse).

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
