Penarul este fabricat din polypropilena rezistenta la socuri mecanice si actiunea coroziva a apei. Partea superioara a capacului este prevazuta cu gradatie, fiind de un real ajutor in situatiile cand doriti sa legati monturile la dimensiunea dorita. Penarul se inchide etans datorita sistemului magnetic, monturile din interior fiind astfel protejate eficient impotriva umezelii si loviturilor accidentale. Penarul este echipat la interior cu o placa rigida si un set de 7 role EVA din material spongios pe care se pot fixa pana la 58 de riguri. Barele de tensionare rigide protejeaza eficient varfurile carligelor impotriva deteriorarii. Penarul se inchide etans datorita sistemului magnetic, iar balamalele robuste sunt proiectate sa reziste la manipulari repetate timp indelungat.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
