Patul Bivvy 8 Feet New este un pat de pescuit confortabil si stabil, proiectat pentru sesiunile de pescuit prelungite pe malul apei. Are lungime de aproximativ 200 cm si latime de circa 75 cm, oferind suficient spatiu pentru odihna confortabila. Constructia foloseste un cadru din aluminiu de calitate aeronautica, ceea ce ii confera rezistenta ridicata si greutate redusa pentru transport. Salteaua este gros captusita, cu strat termic si zona cu fleece cald, pentru confort optim atat in vreme rece, cat si in zile mai racoroase. Patul nu are balamale in zona suprafetei de dormit, permitand somn complet drept, iar cele 8 picioare telescopice reglabile cu talpi late asigura o stabilitate excelenta pe teren denivelat si impiedica afundarea in sol moale. Patul are o capacitate de sustinere de pana la 150 kg si greutatea proprie de aproximativ 9.6 kg, facandu-l potrivit pentru pescarii care vor un pat solid, confortabil si usor de utilizat in timpul partidelor de pescuit sau camping.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
