Pentru prepararea pastei nu trebuie facut altceva decat sa punem o cantitate mica intr-un recipient si sa adaugam treptat apa, cate putin , amestecand cu degetele, exact ca atunci cand dorim sa realizam un aluat. Daca mix-ul este prea tare, se va mai adauga apa, iar in momentul in care acesta pare supra-umectat, se mai poate adauga mix in stare uscata pentru a regla gradul de umiditate.Odata preparata, pasta este indicat a fi tinuta intr-o punga sau acoperita cu o folie subtire de ceolofan pentru ca vantul si soarele sa nu o usuce. Daca se intampla sa uitati de ea la vant sau soare , aceasta va forma o crusta pe suprafata. Indepartati crusta deoarece aceasta nu va mai avea putere de colare, folositi doar pasta "lipicioasa" de sub crusta.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
