Cu noul multiplicator Tatula 100XSL, Daiwa continua imbunatatirea sistemului TWS, crescand astfel performanta de lansare fata de mulinetele baitcast conventionale cu pana la 10%. Acest lucru se datoreaza frecarii reduse a firului in timpul lansarii, deoarece acesta se desfasoara intr-un unghi considerabil mai mare, determinand o frecare mai mica.
La recuperare, ghidajul T permite firului sa ruleze doar pe o parte ingusta, pentru o pozitionare precisa a liniei. Aceasta noua generatie a sistemului TWS a provocat senzatii imense la lansarea sa la ICAST 2013, in Statele Unite ale Americii. In mare parte datorita multiplicatorului Tatula, turneul Bass Master Classic a fost castigat de reprezentantul echipei Daiwa: Randy Howell.Acest model este super rapid cu un raport de recuperare de 8.1:1, rezultand o retractare a firului de 86cm la un tur de manivela, permitand un mod de prezentare a nalucii spectaculos.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
