Noutatea de la Shimano pe anul 2016, mulineta Ultegra XSD vine cu modificari esentiale nu doar in ceea ce priveste designul, cat si tehnologiile implementate. Una, dintre acestea, foarte apreciata de pescarii de crap, este frana rapida Instant Drag care permite o reglare aproape instanta de la minim la maxim.
Pentru cei care urmaresc pescuitul la distanta, conceptele Super Slow Oscillation 50 ( la o tura completa a tamburului sus-jos, rotorul aseaza 50 de spire) si Parallel Body care pozitioneaza tamburul paralel cu lanseta (reducand la minim sansele ca firele sa atinga blank-ul) contribuie enorm la obtinerea unor lansari extrem de lungi.
Apoi, trebuie apreciat faptul ca Shimano a inclus si un tambur de rezerva pentru acest model si 4 reductii pentru fir. Luand in considerare aceste caracteristici, dar si alte tehnologii de top utilizate de producatorul nipon ( X-Ship, Aero Wrap II, Easy Maintenance, AR-C Spool ), putem concluziona ca pescarii pot beneficia de un produs de top la un pret mai mult decat accesibil.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
