- Super Stopper II - anti-revers evoluat si îmbunatatit
- Power roller - reduce considerabil pericolul aparitiei buclelor, mai ales in timpul recuperarii, indiferent daca se foloseste fir mono sau textil.
- corpul este realizat din material XT7 - un material compozit dezvooltat de Shimano usor si robust.
- Variespeed - sistemul revolutionar Shimano Variespeed consta in doua mecanisme oscilante, special concepute. Primul este oval, iar cel de-al doilea are o remarcabila forma patrata. Doar un program special si utilajele dezvoltate de Shimano, au facut posibil ca aceste doua profile sa se imbine perfect, rezultand o dispunere paralela a spirelor pe tambur ce va imbunatati precizia in lansare.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
