Noul Emblem Spod 35 SCW QD a fost actualizat în ceea ce privește tehnologiile, oferind acum și sistemul de așezarea firului SCW - în combinație cu marginea tamburului Longcast, distanța de lansare este astfel îmbunătățită.
Manivela de 90 mm din aluminiu optimizează transmisia puterii în timpul recuperării și oferă rezerve enorme de putere pentru a prelua rapid și ușor spoduri mari de la distanțe mari. Brațul pick-up se declanșează cu mâna pentru a preveni declanșarea nedorită în timpul lansării.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
