Rhino BLX70 este un motor electric de ultima generatie, reglabil in lungime, dar la in unghiul de atac, in functie de marimea ambarcatiunii pe care il vom monta. Beneficiaza de display pentru afisarea permanenta a nivelului bateriei, dar si de mufa USB pentru incarcarea accesoriilor utile (telefoane mobile, lanterne cap, etc). Spre deosebire de generatiile mai vechi, motoarele Rhino din seria BLX au un consum de energie redus, ceea ce inseamna parcurgerea distantelor mai mari, cu aceeasi baterie (acumulator). Bineinteles, orice calcul este influentat de starea acesteia (a bateriei), dar si de conditiile meteo (spre exemplu vant puternic). Calitatea acumulatorului este importanta pentru o utilizare cat mai indelungata. Variantele Gel, Start'nstop, UCG de baterii sunt cele mai indicate, intrucat reusesc sa descarce energie fara a le afecta durata de functionare, asa cum se intampla in cazul acumulatorilor pe baza de acid. Pentru puterea inscrisa a acestui motor (70lb) recomandat folosirea unei baterii de minim 100Ah. Montajul este simplu, fixati menghina pe oglinda barcii, asigurand ca strangeti foarte bine cele doua suruburi cu filet. Conectati firele corespunzatoare pe bornele acumulatorului si puteti pleca. Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
