Modelul Trait a fost proiectat pentru conditii variate de pescuit fiind insa destinat raurilor cu debit mare si curenti puternici. Design-ul paletei se bazeaza pe deja celebrul model Swing insa proportiile sunt diferite pentru fiecare dimensiune a rotativelor Trait.
Corpul este compus din bile a caror dimensiuni si cantitati sunt proiectate individual pentru fiecare marime in parte. Conceptul patentat ce are ca scop eliminarea tuturor vibratiilor parazite dar si o rata crescuta a atacurilor, poarta denumirea de ZVBS (Zero Vibration Body System). De asemeni responsabil pentru situarea rotativelor Pontoon in topul celor mai bune naluci metalice destinate pastravului, cleanului, bibanului si a altor rapitori de talie mica.
Un alt concept aplicat tuturor nalucilor metalice produse de Pontoon 21 este RPB (Reverse pattern on both sides of blades). Imprimarea pe ambele fete ale paletei cu paternuri coloristice diferite sau compatibile ofera o vizibilitate mai buna din orice unghi crescand rata atacurilor si stimuland apetitul pradatorilor. Culorile tuturor celorlalte componente ale rotativei sunt de asemeni compatibile oferind ca rezultat final o naluca extraordinar de asemanatoare organismelor acvatice ce alcatuiesc hrana zilnica existenta in cursurile de apa.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
