BERTI inseamna pasiunea pentru spinning si pentru a doi frati: Eugen si Petre German. La inceputul anilor '90, posibilitatile de a avea venituri ca student erau limitate iar pe piata din Romania nu se gaseau decat naluci de calitate slaba; astfel incat s-a nascut (mai mult din nevoie) pasiunea pentru lurebuilding. In primii ani nalucile manufacturate de noi erau destinate exclusiv uzului personal. Cu timpul, prietenii si partenerii de pescuit, incantati de eficienta nalucilor BERTI, au inceput sa ne sfatuiasca sa construim o mica afacere. Incet-incat, nalucile BERTI au devenit cunoscute in toata tara, iar astazi ele sunt distribuite in peste 100 de magazine din majoritatea oraselor mari din Romania. In conditiile cererii in continua crestere, si incercand sa pastram intacta calitatea produselor noastre, cea mai mare provocare a fost marirea capacitatii de productie fara a face compromisuri din punct de vedere calitativ. Pas cu pas, in toti acesti ani, BERTI a devenit, probabil, cel mai cunoscut si mai apreciat brand de naluci metalice din Romania. Si cu siguranta nu ne vom opri aici.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood
Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.

Made entirely of oak, the Bow Chair is comfortable, visually pleasing and brimming with character. The moulded plywood seat is unusually wide in proportion to its depth and a waterfall edge at the front softens contact with the hamstrings.
