LED Lenser Frogman D14 este o lanterna profesionala care atinge o putere de focalizare considerata pana acum imposibila. Capul lanternei este realizat din otel de inalta calitate iar carcasa este rezistenta la socuri. Are un comutator magnetic care functioneaza usor chiar si la manevrarea cu manusi. Scafandri profesionisti stiu ca lanternele conventionale nu te duc foarte departe atunci cand esti sub apa. Refractia exclude distantele lungi. De aceea, LED Lenser au conceput o lanterna care, datorita colimatorului axial atinge o putere de focalizare, care a fost considerata pana in prezent imposibil. Capul lanternei este construit dintr-un otel de inalta calitate, iar corpul dintr-un plastic securizat, rezistent la socuri. Cipul are o durata de viata de 100.000 de ore, adica in cazul in care lanterna este pornita timp de 3 ore pe saptamana, dioda va dura timp de 600 de ani.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
