Lumin-8 este o lanterna frontala de cap, marca Crap Spirit foarte comoda si practica. Aceasta lanterna frontala rezolva vesnica problema a lanternelor de cap, si anume: bateriile amplasate langa sursa de lumina din partea frontala. Modelul Lumin-8 a rezolvat aceasta problema: bateriile sunt amplasate in partea din spate a bretelelor lanternei. In acest caz in partea frontala este amplasata numai capul de iluminat cu LED.
Puterea LED-ului central este de 80 de lumeni. Micile LED-uri plasate deasupra celui central pot fi folosite pentru o iluminare economica si discreta. Lanterna este prevazuta cu sisteme de siguranta: o lumina de pozitie rosie la spate, pe acumulatorul lanternei, si un mod S.O.S incorporat. Senzorul infra-rosu permite aprinderea si stingerea simpla si rapida a lanternei pur si simplu trecand mana prin fata lui.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
