Această bologneză este realizată din carbon IM7. Acest tip de carbon este folosit pentru acele lansete şi vergi care doresc să îmbine cel mai bine greutatea redusă cu puterea. Astfel această bologneză este una foarte puternică, foarte uşoară iar acţiunea ei este mediu-rapidă. Nu este o lansetă extrem de rigidă însă este foarte uşoară şi agilă. Deoarece este special construită, Scobar Bolo poate fi folosită şi cu plute grele pentru apele adânci şi cu un curent rapid, dar şi cu plute mici atunci când talia peştilor este mică. Partea de vârf a acestei lansete este una fină şi suficient de snesibilă pentru a nu smulge cârligul din gura peştilor mici. În cazul capturilor mai reprezentative, această lansetă devine mai rigidă spre al doilea şi al treilea element, astfel drilurile cu scobarii, clenii sau mrenele nu va fi o problemă. Scobar Bolo este echipată cu inele ultra uşoare pentru a contribui la păstrarea greutăţii reduse şi a agilităţii.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
