Marine Contour 70, ca si alte modele Marine, este proiectat pentru conditii dure. Datorita noii izolatii Thermecool atat in carcasa cat si in capac si inhibitori UV impotriva soarelui, acesta lada frigorifica poate stoca gheata timp de pana la 5 zile la o temperatura ambianta de 30 de grade Celsius. Thermecool spuma de la Igloo este noua spuma de izolatie ecologica, care este mai buna pentru mediu. Cu o capacitate de 66 litri (114 cutii), acest racitor este ideal pentru plimbari cu barca, plaja sau excursii de o zi. Deoarece lada frigorifica este proiectata pentru barca, este echipata cu suruburi din otel inoxidabil pentru a preveni rugina, balamalele si inchiderile sunt din plastic armat si otel inoxidabil. Acest lucru permite Marine Contour 70 sa fie utila si pentru alte aplicatii.Pentru a facilita incarcarea si descarcarea, lada frigorifica este echipata cu manere antiderapante. Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
