Foarfeca cu piatra de ascutit este un accesoriu multifunctional, conceput pentru pescarii care au nevoie de un instrument eficient atat pentru taierea firelor, cat si pentru intretinerea carligelor. Datorita constructiei compacte si practice, aceasta poate fi folosita cu usurinta in orice situatie, direct pe malul apei.
Are o lungime de 12.7cm si este echipata cu o piatra de ascutit incorporata, utila pentru reconditionarea rapida a varfului carligelor. Lamele sunt foarte ascutite, iar una dintre ele este usor zimtata, prevenind alunecarea firului in timpul taierii si oferind un control mai bun.
Foarfeca este universala, fiind potrivita pentru taierea firelor textile, monofilament si fluorocarbon, ceea ce o face un accesoriu versatil in orice trusa de pescuit.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
