Fluorocarbon KATRAN Fantom, 10.95kg, 0.45mm, 50m
Fantom fluorocarbon 100% este firul emblematic al producatorului Katran. Este realizat din copolimeri folosind doar fluorocarbon 100% premium, fiind fabricat in Japonia. Avand o densitate mai mare decat a firelor obisnuite il ajuta sa se scufunde de 4 ori mai repede decat firele obisnuite monofilament. Este extrem de rigid, rezistent la abraziune (scoici, crustacee, pietre, vegetatie submersa). Datorita compozitiei de fluorocarbon premium, copolimerii nefiind pigmentati fac ca indicele de refractie sa fie apropiat de cel al luminii, practic devine aproape invizibil in apa.
Este anti-abraziv si are o rezistenta superioara la nod. Firul fluorocarbon Fantom este potrivit pentru a fi folosit ca inaintas pentru pescuitul rapitorilor si este la fel de eficient in pescuitul la crap. In ultimii ani a devenit unul dintre cele mai folosite fire pentru confectionarea rigurilor in special in concursuri, cat si la pescuitul de placere. Datorita utilizarii simple si proprietatilor a devenit foarte apreciat de pescari. Poate fi folosit atat in confectionarea rigurilor, cat si ca inaintas (shock-leader).

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.

Made entirely of oak, the Bow Chair is comfortable, visually pleasing and brimming with character. The moulded plywood seat is unusually wide in proportion to its depth and a waterfall edge at the front softens contact with the hamstrings.
