Ceea ce renumitul producator american de articole de pescuit Penn a reusit, a fost lansarea pe piata europeana a unui fir textil aproape rotund de o rezistenta exceptionala. Este stiut faptul ca in ultimii ani intre producatorii de fire pentru pescuit exista o adevarata intrecere pentru atingerea rotunjimii perfecte a unui fir textil.
Chiar daca suna imposibil, Penn se afla la un pas de aceasta descoperire, lucru dovedit de lansarea acestei game, conceputa initial pentru pescuitul oceanic. Firul este extrem de rezistent la abraziune, elasticitatea aproape nula (2%) il face ideal pentru pescuitul rapitorilor de talie mare (stiuca, somn). Tehnologia speciala de impletire a firului este cheia unei rezistente aproape incredibile, dar testata la cele mai mari targuri de pescuit organizate pe plan mondial. Ceea ce surprinde totodata la gama Kg de la Penn este rezistenta sporita la nod, dublata de stratul special aplicat pentru protejarea de actiunea razelor UV.
Produs comercializat incepand cu 2010, in Europa, sub numele WFT (World Fishing Tackle) - distribuitorul European Penn.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
