Firul textil S-Camo X8 de la Starbaits este un fir impletit din 8 fire de inalta rezistenta, conceput special pentru pescuitul la crap in conditii extreme, in locuri dificile si cu multa vegetatie sau obstacole. Coloratia camuflaj il face practic invizibil in apa, reducand la minimum suspiciunea exemplarelor mari si prudente.
Constructia din 8 fire ii asigura o rezistenta superioara la abraziune si la noduri, mentinandu-si proprietatile pe termen lung chiar si in conditii de solicitare intensa. Suprafata neteda si rotunda permite lansari lungi si precise, iar absenta aproape totala a elasticitatii garanteaza un ferrat prompt si un contact direct cu pestele pe tot parcursul drilajului.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
