Shimano Kairiki 4 PE Braid este un fir textil, dedicat pescuitului la spinning. Acest fir este fabricat cu aceeasi tehnologie de impletire ca si Kairiki 4. Este realizat prin aplicarea unei tensiuni mari pe fir, in timpul impletirii. Astfel, firul este impletit corect in toate portiunile, rezultand un fir fin, cu un diametru redus.
Elasticitatea redusa face posibila detectarea chiar si celor mai fine trasaturi, fiind extrem de potrivit pentru pescuitul de finete. Culoarea aprinsa va ajuta pescarul sa detecteze in permanenta locatie firului. Senzitivitatea acestui fir este un alt argument ce va convinge pescarii de spinning in alegerea acestui fir din gama producatorului nipon Shimano.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
