Succesul unei partide de pescuit in care finetea primeaza inseamna folosirea unui echipament care sa fie adaptat cap-coada stilului de pescuit pe care-l intreprindem. Folosirea firului textil in tehnica feeder se impune atunci cand avem nevoie sa sesiam cele mai fine trasaturi ale pestelui. Atat montura, cat si linia principala trebuie sa fie de maxima finete pentru o eficienta totala.
Benzar Zsolt a conceput acest fir pentru aceste situatii, indiferent ca tehnica folosita este feeder sau picker. Sunt momente in care trasaturile pestilor sunt atat de fine incat elasticitatea monofilamentului nu semnalizeaza suficient de bine ceea ce se intampla in preajma cosuletului feeder sau a method feeder-ului. Indiferent ca vorbim de pescuit la oblete, platica, crap sau caras, exista perioade in care numai o linie fina poate sa ne aduca rezultatele scontate.
Competition Braid este un fir textil impletit in opt spire, cu strat superior protector din teflon pentru o alunecare cat mai fina prin pastilele inelelor, neexistand riscul formarii perucilor. Stratul teflonat de suprafata faciliteaza o rezistenta incredibila la abraziune, ceea ce inseamna ca putem sa il folosim si in pescuitul din apropierea structurilor subacvatice. Culoarea maroniu inchis ii confera firului un camuflaj perfect pe substrat.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
