Select Baits SilkRay este un fir monofilament recomandat celor care cauta sa obtina lanseuri cat mai lungi.
Principalele atribute ale acestui fir sunt supletea si textura suprafetei care reduce frictiunea cu inelele.
Aceste doua caracteristici ajuta spirele firului dupa iesirea de pe tamburul mulinetei sa intre cat mai repede in aliniamentul inelelor.
De fapt, cand vorbim despre fire monofilament speciale pentru lanseuri lungi, acesta este modul in care trebuie evaluat firul respectiv: cat de rapid reuseste sa treaca prin inele, firul fiind cel care incetineste in realitate lanseul prin propria greutatea si prin frecarea cu inelele.
SilkRay este un fir care imprumuta din tehnologia firelor pentru stationar, suple si cu tratament siliconic, dar pastreaza totusi o rezistenta mare caracteristica firelor specifice pescuitului crapului
Disponibil in doua culori, foarte vizibile, indiferent de nivelul luminii ambientale: verde fluo si portocaliu fluo.
Ambele variante de culoare sunt mate, cu translucenta aproape zero. Am ales culori mate pentru ca sunt considerabil mai vizibile, indeosebi ziua, cand avem lumina puternica, sau noaptea cand luminam firul cu lanterna.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
