Fir special pentru apa sarata, dar si cu aplicatii pentru pescuitul la crap, fiind mult mai rezistent la solventii existenti in apa, fata de ale fire clasice. Caracteristica principala este rezistenta superioara la nod si tratamentul molecular aplicat din faza de fabricatie.
Rezistenta firului depaseste limite extreme, oferind si o lipsa totala a memoriei, fiind pe trei nivele de structura: Stratul de exterior care functioneaza ca o structura protectiva super neteda reduce frecarea si isi pastreaza durabilitatea in timp, stratul de interior cu nano-structura de inalta coeziune si rezistenta moleculara, iar stratul intermediar pentru flexibilitate.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
