In plus fata de caracteristica flourocarbonului de a fi invizibil în apa, Zero HF poseda o rezistenta liniara si la nod exceptionala. Ins cea mai inovativa caracteristica a acestui exceptional fir este rezistenta sa crescuta la abraziune, de aproape 20 de ori mai mare decat a firelor din generatia anterioara, fiind atat de rezistent încat se poate taia chiar si material plastic cu el.
Acoperirea cu flourine face suprafata firului mult mai neteda decat a majoritatii firelor traditionale, o foarte importanta caracteristica care ne ajuta la lanseuri, dar îl si impermeabilizeaza în acelasi timp, pastrandu-i rezistenta nealterata, chiar si atunci cand este folosit în partide prelungite.
Nu în ultimul rand, tratamentul cu fluorine face practic ca firul sa nu fie afectat deloc de razele ultraviolete.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
