Elasticitatea mică a acestui monofilament oferă o sensibilitate ridicată, datorită căreia cele mai delicate mușcături sunt transmise vârfului lansetei. In acelasi timp, avand totusi o elasticitate mai mare decat firul textil, absoarbe perfect smuciturile pestelui, il tine mult mai bine pe carlig si nu-i rupe buza in timpul extractiei.
În conformitate cu tendințele moderne, firul de pescuit este realizat în culoarea aproape neagră, care nu este vizibilă pe fund și nu sperie peștele.
Datorită rezistenței crescute la uzură, este excelent pentru pescuitul pe teren dificil, unde sunt așteptate multe contacte cu obstacole subacvatice. Și, desigur, marele său avantaj este că adună mult mai puțină iarbă și resturi de suprafață, sporind confortul pescuitului.
Linia include cele mai bune diametre pentru pescuitul la feeder, de la 0,23 la 0,37 mm. Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
