Yamatoyo Fluoro Shock Leader este un fluorocarbon 100% fabricat in Japonia, proiectat special pentru rezistenta extrema la abraziune si o invizibilitate aproape totala in apa. Este alegerea perfecta pentru pescarii care isi confectioneaza strune pentru stiuca, oferind protectie superioara impotriva dintilor ascutiti si a obstacolelor submerse.
Materialul fluorocarbon are densitate ridicata, comportament rigid si o rezistenta remarcabila la muscatura, fiind mult mai dificil de taiat fata de monofilamentele clasice. Totodata, este aproape invizibil in apa datorita indicelui scazut de refractie, un avantaj major in lacuri limpezi si zone cu presiune mare de pescuit.
Structura dura si tratamentul de suprafata permit noduri compacte, usor de legat si extrem de fiabile, chiar si la diametre mari (50–80 lb). Firul este recomandat pentru pescuitul cu naluci mari, swimbaituri, jerkbaituri, spinnerbaituri XL si monturi dedicate pescuitului la rapitori mari.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
