Aceasta este linia principala suprema din fluorocarbon, rodul a cativa ani de cercetare si testare pana cand echipa Korda a gasit formula care sa indeplineasca toate asteptarile unui pescar exigent. Firul Kontour reuneste toate calitatile esentiale ale unui fluorocarbon de top: este aproape invizibil sub apa, se scufunda rapid si sigur, si ofera o prezentare impecabila indiferent de conditii.
Dar adevarata sa valoare sta in echilibrul perfect intre puterea nodului si abilitatea de a fi lansat la distante considerabile — depasind cu usurinta pragul de 100 de yarzi, performanta rar intalnita la firele de acest tip. Gama acopera toate scenariile de pescuit, cu variante de 12lb, 15lb si 18lb, iar pentru cei care cauta un plus de finete si control sub varful lansetei, versiunea de 12lb a fost conceputa special cu proprietati mai suple, oferind manevrabilitate superioara fata de fratii sai mai robusti.
In plus, Kontour impresioneaza prin rezistenta sa remarcabila la abraziune, facand fata cu brio atat vegetatiei dense, cat si obstacolelor subacvatice. Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
