Şnurul de prima clasă a mărcii slovace FIN. Accentul principal a fost pus pe mărirea masei totale a şnurului, care nu poate fi obţinută prin împletirea standard. De aceea 8K este un şnur împletit de 2x, unde sunt împletite paralel două straturi de şnururi cu patru fibre. Acest tip de împletire influenţează substanţial întregul caracter al şnurului, care este evident imediat la apucarea cu mâna. Astfel densitatea şnurului şi masa acestuia sunt substanţial mai ridicate, ceea ce se manifestă printr-o coborâre la fund mai rapidă şi cu o rezistenţa la frecare substanţial mai ridicată. Suprafaţa şnurului nu este suficient tratat. Având în vedere faptul, că 8K nu este tratat la suprafaţă, acesta nu îşi modifică proprietăţile în timpul utilizării. Este destinat pentru confecţionarea monturilor pentru crap, pentru utilizare cu momeli atât scufundabile cât şi plutitoare. Varianta cu camuflaj se contopeşte perfect cu fundul, ceea ce permite o prezentare naturală a momelii.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
