Acest şnur este împletit din opt micro fibre. Împletirea a opt micro fibre creează o structură fină, perfect rotundă cu o portanţă ieşită din comun pentru acest şnur excepţional pentru şocuri. Datorită finisajului de suprafaţă, suprafaţa şnurului este extrem de netedă. Astfel, la lansare apare o frecare la alunecare foarte redusă, comparabilă cu firul monofilar. Procesul special de etanşeizare a suprafeţei firului a creat nu numai o suprafaţă perfect netedă, dar în principal o rezistenţă incomparabil mai mare la frecare, care este excepţională printre şnururile împletite în general. Închiderea „porilor” împiedică pătrunderea apei şi a murdăriei, ceea ce protejează semnificativ umpluturile inelelor şi rola mulinetei.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
