Atingerea unor distante mari de lansare poate face diferenta intr-o partida de pescuit intreprinsa pe un lac pe care se pescuieste intens. Fie zone cu vegetatie abundenta, fie zone linistite in apropierea malului opus, toate pot sa tina peste. In schimb, lansarea monturii necesita un efort si o tehnica pe care putini dintre pescari le dobandesc.
Intrucat majoritatea pescarilor de crap folosesc un inaintas textil, riscul accidentarii degetelor poate aparea mai ales atunci cand solicitam lanseta la maxim. Manusa degetar este conceputa pentru a oferi sensibilitate la eliberarea firului, dar si protectie in cazul in care ceva nu functioneaza in momentul lanseului.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
