Cutit Helle Audun Limited Edition, Lama=88mm + Teaca
Va prezentam cutitul Helle Editie Limitata 2024, proiectat de designer sef pentru manere de la Helle, Audun. Incepand din 1973, Audun a lucrat mai intai la sectia tacamuri, inainte de a prelua rolul de sef design pentru manere si de maistru. In ultimii 50 de ani, Audun a colaborat cu trei generatii Helle si a jucat un rol esential in multe dintre proiectele lor.
„A fost o treaba buna toata viata mea. Dupa ce ma intorceam acasa la sotia si copiii mei cand erau mai mici, erau mereu cateva aschii de lemn ce cadeau din hainele mele pe podeaua baii. Apoi sotia mea le-a spus copiilor: Din aschii de lemn traim.”
Anul acesta, Audun si-a creat propriul cutit preferat, pe baza a peste 50 de ani de cunostinte si abilitati. Produsul finit este un cutit uimitor care incorporeaza atat noul, cat si vechiul Helle. Dispune de o lama clasica de otel laminat H3LS cu slefuire scandi si un varf subtil, facandu-l insotitorul perfect in toate situatiile pentru aventuri si drumetii.
Manerul are doua dintre materialele preferate ale lui Audun. Piesa frontala, realizata din corn de ren este protejata de o placa din otel inoxidabil. Aceasta piesa frontala este integrata intr-un maner de mesteacan cret colorat, vopsit, folosind reteta proprie de ungere cu ulei Audon. Nuantele de rosu inchis si maro rezultate ofera un contrast izbitor cu albul curat al coarnelor de ren. Are avantajul suplimentar de a mirosi ca si cum tocmai ai pornit un foc de tabara. Inspirandu-se atat din designul clasic, cat si din cel contemporan, forma manerului aduce un omagiu semnaturii Helle, in timp ce varful alungit semneaza te trimite catre inovatiile mai recente.
Ca maner, iubesti frumusetea durabila a mesteacanului, simbolul de pe partea din fata a tecii este un mesteacan in plina primavara.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
