Croşeta simplă este un accesoriu folosit pentru tragerea pe firul de păr a boilies-urilor sau pop-up-urilor deja găurite cu burghiul, precum şi pentru fixarea opritorului pentru boilies sau pop-up. În cazuri extreme croşeta simplă poate fi folosită pentru străpungerea boiliesurilor sau pop-up-urilor de diamentre mici. Lungimea totală a croşetei este de 10,5 cm din care partea metalică are 3,5 cm. Corpul croşetei este din plastic galben şi este prevăzut cu o bandă de cauciuc striat de culoare neagră care oferă o priză foarte bună chiar şi atunci când este ud. Culoarea galbenă a mânerului are avantajul că putem găsi croşeta foarte uşor în caz că o pierdem prin iarbă pe malul apei. Croşeta simpă cu mâner de cauciuc este un accesoriu util, uşor de transportat şi păstrat fie în compartimentele valigetei de pescuit fie în buzunarul de la cămaşă sau de la vesta de pescuit.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
