Aceste sosete revolutionare nu doar protejeaza picioarele de caldura, frig si miros neplacut, dar si ajuta in acelasi timp sportivul sa practice sportul preferat la un nivel ridicat. Ciorapul Cross Country este ideal pentru incaltamintea de dimensiuni medii si trebuie sa protejeze piciorul atat de frig, cat si de socurile continue la care este supus piciorul la mersul pe teren neregulat. Plansa de protectie, de asemenea, pozitionata pe partea de jos protejeaza foarte bine muschiul extensor situat de-a lungul "degetului mare", care la mersul pe jos este tot timpul in contact direct cu incaltamintea.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
