Carligele Sunset SW Sunhooks au intrat rapid in preferintele pescarilor. Aceasta se datoreaza faptului ca pot fi folosite pentru absolut toate tehnicile de pescuit. Initial au fost gandite pentru pescuit de finete la stationar urmarind specii precum crapul sau carasul dar ulterior au fost asimilate cu usurinta pentru a fi utilizate si de pescarii la rapitor in confectionarea mustelor ( fly tying ) sau ca si carlige pentru naluci flexibile in monturi de tip drop shot.
Pescarii de stationar le apreciaza in mod deosebit pentru gama mare de aplicabilitate – momeli vii (viermi, rame, larve), porumb si pop-up sintetic (din silicon), pasturi (mamaliga, cocolos) etc. Pescarii de rapitor le utilizeaza in special pentru monturi de tip drop shot atunci cand utilizeaza fire subtiri in conditii de vreme vantoasa si ape agitate. Carligele Sunset SW Sunhooks sunt unele dintre cele mai versatile modele de carlige Sunset. Se preteaza de la pescuitul la pastrav pana la cel cu monturi utilizand naluci flexibile (trecand prin toata gama de stationar, crap si caras ).

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
