DF a imbunatatit inca o data acest carlig de crap. Puternic influentat de experientele sale la pescuit, Dan a decis sa faca doua modificari majore unuia dintre modelele sale preferate, facandu-l o optiune serioasa in cadrul arsenalului sau.
Prima modificare a fost varful carligului cu cioc. In timpul testarii, varful cu cioc a oferit intepari mai sigure ale carligului, crescand semnificativ raportul recuperarilor sigure .
Cealalta schimbare a fost aceea de a intoarce ochetul si mai mult. Modelul original are un ochi intors la 20 de grade, noua versiune cu cioc creste acest lucru la 40 de grade. Acest lucru ajuta carligul sa se rastoarne si sa se intoarca extrem de rapid in gura pestelui, asigurand o fixare constanta a carligului.
In conformitate cu modelul original, Longshank Beaked este forjat, cu tija mai groasa pentru o rezistenta suplimentara, mentinand in acelasi timp durabilitatea cu un strat de PTFE.
Disponibil in marimile 2, 4, 6 si 8, in variantele barbed siu barbless, ambalate zece carlige per pachet.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
